• Completed the 5K course at the Adidas Invitational sixth overall (15:05.9) to help NC State win the meet in Cary, N.C.

• Finished fourth in the Nike Cross Country New York Regional, then posted a top 50 finish at the Nike Cross Country Nationals

• Won the New York Section 11 Division and Section 11 championships

• Was Federation state champion in the 3200 meters as a senior in 2008-09

• Was public school state champion in the indoor 1600 meters, and the Eastern States two-mile champion in 2008-09

• Earned All-America honors in the two-mile run with a sixth-place finish at the Nike Indoor Nationals, finishing with a time of 9:06
• Was named all-state eight times and all-county 10 times in cross country and track and field as a junior and senior

• Earned the New York State Sportsmanship Award for cross country in 2008
