    Cross Country To Run In ACC Championships on Saturday

    NC State sets its sights on both individual and team honors

    2011
    • Took fourth place at the season-opening adidas Cross Country Challenge on Oct. 14
    • Finished 22nd at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 24, running the 8k course in 24:38.7
    • Finished 85th at the Wisconsin adidas Open in a time of 24:43.7
    • Took 17th place at the ACC Championships on Oct. 29 at the Musser Fruit Research Center at Clemson, S.C., completing the 8k course in a time of 23:57.6
    • Finished 30th at the NCAA Southeast Regional in Louisville, Ky., running the 10k course in 31:00.8
    • Ran 124th at the NCAA Championships

    • Individually qualified for the NCAA Championships by virtue of placing fifth overall at the NCAA Southeast Regional to earn his first All-NCAA Southeast Regional honor with a 10k time of 30:26 -- a 73-second improvement over his 2007 regional mark
    • Claimed All-SEC second-team honors at the league championships, posting a personal-best time of 24:12 on the 8k course to place 14th overall
    • Finished first on the squad in five consecutive meets
    • Placed sixth overall at Penn State National Invitational, completing the 5.2-mile course in 25:26
    • Scored in 11 of 12 career team races for UK

    All-SEC Freshman Team
    • Finished 41st overall at the 8k SEC Championships to place second on the team at 25:32, earning recognition as part of the SEC All-Freshman team
    • Only freshman to score in each meet for the Wildcats
