As a junior (2005): Began the season as NC State's top pinch-hitter before breaking into the lineup midway through the season ... Finally cracked the starting lineup April 13 vs. UNC Wilmington and remained in the lineup until fracturing a bone in his right hand when hit by a pitch April 30 vs. North Carolina ...
