    As a sophomore (2010)
    • Started the middle game of the La Salle series, Feb. 20, and limited the Explorers to a run on four hits in five innings
    • Retired nine of the first 10 La Salle batters he faced and finished his five-inning stint with seven strikeouts
    • Started Feb. 26 vs. third-ranked UC Irvine at Baseball at the Beach at Myrtle Beach, and allowed just one hit, an infield single, in six innings
    • Allowed three runs, two earned, on six hits in 6 2/3 innings while striking out seven March 27 vs. Miami
    • Allowed the Hurricanes a run in the first inning, then retired 17 of the next 22 batters he faced
    • Got the win April 10 in the middle game of the North Carolina series to improve to 4-2
    • Pitched a complete game April 17 in the second game of the Maryland series, allowing two runs, one earned, on five hits with five strikeouts and just one walk
    • Retired 12 of the first 15 Maryland hitters faced, and one of the three who reached base did so on an error, then retired 11 of the final 12 hitters of the game
    • Took a no-hitter into the fifth inning May 1 vs. Georgia Tech, retiring 13 of the first 15 batters he faced
    • Wound up pitching seven-plus innings vs. the Yellow Jackets and allowing two runs on five hits with five strikeouts
    • Pitched six sterling innings May 9 in the finale of the Towson series, taking a no-hitter into the fourth inning and retiring 17 of the 22 men he faced
    • Lost a heartbreaker May 15 at Florida State, retiring 11 of the first 13 Seminoles he faced, and 17 of 21 through six innings before running out of gas in the late innings

    As a freshman (2009)
    • Did not allow a run in his last six games, and had a 3.55 ERA over his final nine appearances, covering 25 1/3 innings
    • Had his breakthrough outing April 7 in a start vs. UNC Wilmington, working six innings and facing just one batter over the minimum through the first five innings
    • Held the Seahawks to one run on three hits, walked one and struck out five
    • Pitched two scoreless innings in relief April 24 in the first game of the Virginia series and did not allow a run the rest of the season
    • Tossed four shutout innings May 2 at Campbell, allowing one hit and no walks while striking out a career-best seven
    • Worked two scoreless innings May 8 vs. then-No. 1-ranked North Carolina
    • Went 2 2/3 scoreless innings on May 16 vs. Clemson, striking out one without allowing a hit

    Summer league
    • Pitched for the Slippery Rock Sliders of the Prospect League in 2009 and went 2-4 with a 3.91 ERA
    • Made 12 appearances, 10 of them starts, and worked 53 innings
    • Walked 28 and struck out 62

    • Went 7-2 with a 1.13 ERA in 55 2/3 innings as a senior in 2008 for head coach Eric Semega at Seneca Valley High School

    • Helped lead Seneca Valley to the sectional championship

    • Played in the 2008 WPIAL All-Star Game
