    As a junior (2004): Got off to a hot start and was 4-1 with a 1.57 ERA his first eight appearances of the season ... Made his first appearance of the season in a start March 3 vs. Le Moyne, working 5 1/3 innings and allowing two runs on five hits ... Struck out five without issuing a walk ... Allowed three runs, one earned, on five hits in 5 2/3 innings March 9 vs. George Mason, but took his first loss of the season ... Walked two and struck out six in that game ... Worked five innings of one-hit shutout baseball March 14 vs. Northeastern to record his second win of the year ... Walked one and struck out five ... Pitched five scoreless innings March 23 at UNCW, walking one and striking out six, but did not figure in the decision, a 1-0 loss ... Allowed a run in 2 1/3 innings of releif March 28 vs. Virginia to get the win, an 8-7 victory that decided the three-game series in favor of the Wolfpack ...
