    As a sophomore (2005): Nearly doubled his batting average from his freshman campaign, and finished the year on a rampage, bating .365 (27-for-74) over the final 22 games of the season ... Batted .385 (5-for-13) with a triple and three RBIs in three games at the NCAA Lincoln Regional to cap off a strong season in style ... Also had a standout season defensively, leading all ACC shortstops in fielding percentage, and was one of just three conference shortstops with a fielding percentage higher than .940 ... Committed just 12 errors, which ranked second among conference shortstops, and led all shortstops who played full-time at that position ... Went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs in the season opener February 4 vs. Delaware State ...
