    As a sophomore (2013)
    - Drew the start in nine of 11 appearances, going 1-1 with a 1.56 ERA over 34.2 IP
    - Struck out 30 while holding opposing batters to a .187 average
    - NC State's game two starter in both the Raleigh Super Regional and College World Series

    As a freshman (2012)
    - Went 5-1 with a 5.71 ERA, starting 13 of 14 appearances. Struck out 57 over 52.0 innings
    - Earned a win in his first collegiate appearance, five innings in relief against Youngstown State, threw four no-hit innings to open his career
    - Threw five no-hit innings against West Virginia in his first career start, striking out nine and walking one

    - Earned first-team all-conference honors in the Eastern Carolinas 3-A Conference for the second year in a row
    - Had a 4-3 record and a 1.02 ERA in 10 appearances, all starts, striking out 65 in 62 innings
