Became only the third NC State pitcher ever to win 12 games in a single season, joining Matt Donahue (1991 and 1992) and Brett Black (1997) ... Pitched eight innings February 21 vs. Boston College and got the win after allowing two runs on seven hits, walking one and striking out seven ... Gave up two runs in the second inning, and then set down 19 of the last 21 men he faced ... Tossed a complete-game two-hit shutout of Villanova on March 31, giving up a single each in the first and second inning, and then retiring the next 20 men he faced and 22 of the last 23 ...
