As a freshman (2012)
• Led the nation at 57-for-61 on stolen base attempts, stole 29 consecutive without being caught to open the season
• Started all 63 games at third base, hitting .336 to finish 10th in the ACC, adding 13 doubles, five homers, and 43 RBIs
• Consensus Freshman All-America (NCBWA, Collegiate Baseball, Baseball America), ACC All-Tournament, and All-Regional
• Finished the season with a .432 OBP, good for seventh in the ACC. Sixth in the nation with 72 runs, tied the NC State freshman record (Tom Sergio in 1994)
• Scored at least one run in 25 of the Pack's final 29 games
• Turner's stolen base total would have been tied for 133rd amongst TEAMS, meaning he stole more bases than over half of the teams in Division I baseball
• His best stretch came with nine steals in a week against Elon and Clemson, which would have equaled the season mark by NC State's top base stealer in 2011
• On April 13 at Clemson, Turner tied an ACC record by becoming the sixth player in conference history to steal five bases in a single game
• In the series with Clemson: tallied five stolen bases Friday, hit a two-out, two-RBI double for the game-winning runs Saturday, and took home ACC Player of the Week honors on Monday after going 5-for-12 with three runs and two RBIs for the series
• Hit a three-run double on opening day against Marshall
• Rallied the Pack going 5-for-12 with two RBIs and four runs, including his first collegiate home run (solo shot to left), and two walks in the series sweep over Wake Forest
• Tied and broke the NC State single-season stolen base mark with two steals against Elon in a 3-for-4 performance, coming a homer away from the cycle, with four RBIs, two runs scored, and two walks
• Went 9-for-15 with five runs and four RBIs over the series with Boston College, highlighted by a career-best 5-for-5, three run, two RBI effort in game two of Saturday's doubleheader
• Hit a home run on the first pitch of the Wolfpack's ACC Tournament game against Wake Forest, his second lead-off homer of the year

High school
• Had an outstanding career for head coach Larry Greenstein at Park Vista High School
• Batted .478 with nine doubles, five triples, one home run, 16 RBIs, 43 runs scored and 25 steals in 28 attempts
• Led Vista High School to a 21-9 record
• Played for the South team in Palm Beach County's Dick Howser All-Star Game
• Batted .379 and stole 13 bases as a junior in 2010 to earn first-team all-county honors from The Sun-Sentinel
• Was an honorable-mention selection to The Palm Beach Post's all-area large schools team
• Was an honorable-mention all-county selection Class 6-A/5-A/4-A selection
• Named second-team all-conference in Palm County's Central Division
