RALEIGH, N.C. - No. 10 NC State swept a doubleheader against Wagner Sunday, roaring past the Seahawks 18-0 in the morning before adding a 25-4 victory in the afternoon.

Brett Williams ignited the offense for the Wolfpack (5-1) in the first game with a pair of homers and kept his momentum going in game two. Williams finished the day 7-for-9 with three home runs, three doubles, 10 RBIs and five runs scored.

Trea Turner and Grant Clyde poured in seven RBIs each over the course of the afternoon. Turner went a combined 4-for-8 including a grand slam in game two. Clyde made each of his at-bats count -- the senior went 3-for-3 on the day, hitting a grand slam in game one and a two-run shot in the second. Sam Morgan hit a pair of homers Sunday, and Tarran Senay hit his second of the weekend.

State rallied around Williams' monster game in the morning to capture the 18-0 shutout. Williams hit a pair of homers and a pair of doubles to go 4-for-5 with five RBIs. Logan Jernigan (1-0) secured the win with five shutout innings in the start, striking out four. Ryan Wilkins and Dillon Frye held Wagner (1-2) to two hits over the final four innings.

The Pack fell behind 4-0 in the second game of the day after Chris Smith's grand slam in the top of the first. State maintained its composure after a 1-2-3 inning in the first, scoring runs in the second and third to cut the deficit to 4-2.

The floodgates opened in the fourth, as the Wolfpack tacked seven runs on the board to make it 9-4. Morgan led off the critical inning with a double to right center. After a bases loaded walk made it 4-3, Turner launched his grand slam to left field to put State on top. With a 12-4 lead heading into the bottom of the eighth, the Pack bats caught fire to the tune of 13 runs.

Reliever Travis Orwig (1-0) claimed the win with a perfect fifth inning. Josh Easley gave up the grand slam, but all four runs were unearned after an error extended the inning. Easley went four innings in all, holding Wagner to two hits while striking out four.
