NC State baseball is teaming up with the Vs. Cancer and Jimmy V Foundations, and the Greater Triangle Area Great Clips Franchisees in the fight against childhood cancer. The Vs. Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization which empowers athletes and communities to fund childhood cancer efforts.
On Saturday, April 26 when the Wolfpack takes on Georgia Tech, fans will have the opportunity to join the fight. During the game, fans will be able to to have their head shaved on the concourse by a Great Clips representative in an effort to raise money and awareness. Everyone participating in the head-shaving will receive a free NC State hat, and will automatically be entered into a grand prize drawing. The grand prize drawing will feature a $100 Great Clips gift card and a team-autographed bat.
The Vs. Cancer Foundation will also be on-site accepting donations. All fans who make a donation of at least $5 will receive a coupon for a free haircut at Great Clips.
