No. 5 NC State travels to Duke for its final ACC series of the 2013 regular season, beginning Thursday at 6 p.m., continuing Friday at 6 p.m., and concluding Saturday at 1 p.m. at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

The Wolfpack (39-13, 16-10 ACC) trails Clemson by half a game, and Florida State by 1 1/2 games in the ACC's Atlantic Division standings heading into the weekend. Florida State hosts Clemson for three games this weekend. State needs to sweep Duke and Clemson needs to win exactly two games for the Pack to win the division title.

Duke (26-26, 9-18) needs a sweep of NC State coupled with a Georgia Tech sweep of Miami this weekend to make the ACC Tournament in Durham, beginning on May 22.

NC State leads the all-time series with Duke 148-120-1, and swept the Blue Devils three games to none in Raleigh in 2012.

Sophomore shortstop Trea Turner will be counted on to set the table for the Pack. Turner has reached base in 98 of 105 career games. In 96 of those 98 contests, Turner has advanced to second base at least once.

For his career, the Pack is 14-3 (.824) when Turner has three or more hits, and 8-9 (.471) when Turner doesn't reach base or doesn't play. If Turner reaches base at least once, the Wolfpack is 74-24 (.755).

Bryan Adametz enters the weekend on a nine game hitting streak, and represents the 13th toughest batter to strikeout in the nation, averaging 18.1 at-bats per K.

Grant Clyde is currently 21-for-38 (.538) when leading off an inning. Clyde hit .362 and slugged .569 with nine doubles during the month of April.

Radio coverage for all three games will be handled by 88.1 WKNC. Fans can also follow along with live stats on, or on Twitter via @NCStateBaseball.
