Mary Beth Koetters is in her first year as the administrative assistant to head coach Mark Gottfried. Koetters joins the Wolfpack men's basketball staff after eight years with the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats. In her role, she will provide day-to-day support for Gottfried and his coaching staff. Among Koetters' duties is to assist Gottfried with maintaining his schedule, correspondence and special requests. She also will help coordinate travel and lodging needs for the Wolfpack coaches and team throughout the year. Prior to her time with the Bobcats, Koetters was the National Basketball Development League's office coordinator where she assisted with all facets of the operations for the organization, ranging from media and community relations, marketing, business and basketball operations. She also helped the NBA Events and Attracts department with its All-Star Weekend activities in 2003. Koetters also served as the team liaison to the ACC when the league held its 2008 men's basketball tournament at Time Warner Cable Arena. Koetters also worked at the team level in the NBDL with the Greenville Groove. While with the Groove, she was responsible for developing sponsorship proposals, coordinating pre- and post-game activities, writing public address announcements and overseeing in-game promotions.
