RALEIGH, N.C. - The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina Big Three 3-Point Challenge is back for its second season. The Wolfpack is battling UNC and Duke both on and off the court, to score big for their selected charities. This year, NC State is competing to benefit The V Foundation for Cancer Research. The Big Three men’s basketball team with the most 3-pointers made during the ACC regular season will win $10,000 for their charity.  Second place will get $7,500 and third will receive $5,000.

Fans can help score even more for The V Foundation by texting STATE to 72579 once a day, every day through March 9th. The team with the most total texts will win an additional $10,000 for their charity. When you text, you’ll automatically be entered in a drawing for two tickets to the Big Three Legends Game, as well as entry into the grand prize drawing for a chance to sit on the bench as a Big Three Legends team Honorary Coach.

Wolfpack legend Vinny Del Negro will coach a team of former State stars in the Big Three Legends Game, with Kenny Smith coaching the Legends team from UNC and Christian Laettner on the bench for Duke. The game will be played Friday, March 7th at The Cage on the American Tobacco Campus.  All ticket proceeds from the Legends Game will go to support each of the Big Three charities.
