RALEIGH, N.C. - For the first time since 2007-08 season, NC State faces in-state ACC rivals Duke, North Carolina and Wake Forest in home-and-home series during the upcoming conference schedule released by the league office on Wednesday. For the first time in ACC history, the conference's teams will play an 18-game schedule.

The Wolfpack's ACC slate also includes home-and-home series with defending conference champion Florida State, Boston College, Clemson and Georgia Tech. State will also entertain Miami and Virginia Tech in single games at PNC Arena, while traveling to Maryland and Virginia for single contests.

"I think our conference schedule is going to be tremendously challenging," said head coach Mark Gottfried. "We're playing several teams that have a chance to finish in the top half of the league more than once. From start to finish, we're going to have one of the most competitive schedules of any team in league."

NC State and PNC Arena is set to host ESPN's College GameDay for the Wolfpack's Jan. 26 meeting with North Carolina.

This season, the Pack is scheduled to make 11 appearances on the ESPN family of networks in conference action. Five of its league games will be broadcast on the ACC Network with one game on CBS and another on the Regional Sports Network.

The 2013 ACC Tournament is set for March 14-17 at the Greensboro Coliseum.

In addition to its challenging ACC schedule, the Wolfpack's faces a stern non-conference ledger with contests against defending NIT champion Stanford, Connecticut, Michigan, Cleveland State, Miami (OH), Penn State, St. Bonaventure and Western Michigan. The Pack also faces in-state foes UNC Asheville and UNC Greensboro. In all, NC State faces eight opponents that advanced to post season play.

NC State returns starters Lorenzo Brown (12.7 ppg, 6.3 apg), Richard Howell (10.8 ppg, 9.2 rpg), C.J. Leslie (14.7 ppg, 7.3 rpg) and Scott Wood (12.4 ppg, .409 3-FG pct.) from last year's 24-13 (9-7 ACC) Sweet 16 team.

Wolfpack fans are encouraged to purchase season tickets early with a new season-ticket holder incentive program. Ten prizes will be given away between Sept. 1-10, with one drawing per day. Among the prizes are 2013 ACC Tournament tickets, airline tickets, behind-the-scenes access, ticket discounts, seat upgrades, autograph prize packs and GoPack Store and concessions vouchers.

All who purchase season tickets by August 31 will be eligible for any of the 10 drawings, while anyone who places an order between September 1-9 will be eligible, starting with the next day's drawing.

Accounts are automatically entered upon placing an order.

More information on ticket pricing plans is available at gopack.com/paymentplan or by calling the NC State ticket office at 919-865-1510.
