RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State opens a six-game homes stand in the month of December when it host Cleveland State on Saturday at Reynolds Coliseum at 1 p.m. It will be the Wolfpack’s only appearance at the historic venue this season.
Saturday’s contest is the first meeting between in NC State and Cleveland State, but the Pack has faced other members of the Horizon League, in which the Vikings compete, owning a 6-2 all-time versus the conference.
The Pack is seeking to remain undefeated in games at Reynolds under Mark Gottfried. NC State won all three of its contests there last season in Gottfried’s first season at the helm.
Since the Wolfpack moved to PNC Arena on a full-time basis starting with the 1999-2000 season, it is 12-0 in regular-season contests played at Reynolds. That record improves to 13-0 when post-season games are included.
Saturday’s game will be 780th men’s game played at Reynolds and the Wolfpack will be playing for its 603rd overall victory in building.
