Saturday’s contest is the first meeting between in NC State and Cleveland State, but the Pack has faced other members of the Horizon League, in which the Vikings compete, owning a 6-2 all-time versus the conference. The Pack is seeking to remain undefeated in games at Reynolds under Mark Gottfried. NC State won all three of its contests there last season in Gottfried’s first season at the helm. Since the Wolfpack moved to PNC Arena on a full-time basis starting with the 1999-2000 season, it is 12-0 in regular-season contests played at Reynolds. That record improves to 13-0 when post-season games are included. Saturday’s game will be 780th men’s game played at Reynolds and the Wolfpack will be playing for its 603rd overall victory in building. Wolfpack fans can listen to the game on the NC State Radio Network with Gary Hahn calling the action and Tony Haynes providing the color analysis. Subscribers to Sirius and XM satellite radio can also listen to the game on Sirius channel 113 and XM channel 192. The game will also be televised on FoxSports South with the broadcast team of Rich Waltz providing the play-by-play description and Daymeon Fishback breaking down the action on the court.
