    NC State scores 27 unanswered points in the second period en route to its first win over a top 10 since 2005 and its first win over Clemson since 2003. The defense leads the way with four turnovers and six sacks, while T.J. Graham breaks the ACC's all-time record for kickoff return yardage and David Amerson ties the ACC mark with his 11th interception of the season.

Also a first-team preseason all-league choice by Blue Ribbon ... Named to the preseason 'watch' list for the Mackey Award for the third-straight year.

    In 2010: First-team All-ACC performer for the second straight year ... A semifinalist for the 2010 Mackey Award ... Tied for ninth in school history with 13 career touchdown receptions, the highest mark among returning players ... Ranked third on the team in receiving with 35 catches for 369 yards ... Pulled down the longest catch of his career, a 37-yarder, in the win over Boston College ... A first-team preseason all-conference choice according to Phil Steele's College Preview ... An honorable mention preseason All-American according to Consensus Draft Services ... Only the third tight end in school history to earn first-team All-ACC honors ...     In 2009: Named a first-team All-ACC performer after leading all league tight ends in receptions ...
