    Getting Ready to Bowl: Accommodations

    Learn what it takes to get the Pack set up for a bowl game

    Kit Hughes enters his sixth season with the Wolfpack, and his fourth season as director of football operations. Hughes joined the Wolfpack in January of 2007 as the assistant director of football operations after spending the previous three years at Boston College. He was named as assistant AD in Spring of 2011.

    Hughes also serves as camp director for Coach Tom O'Brien's high school summer camps, which yield a number of future scholarship student-athletes for the program.

    Before his arrival in Raleigh, Hughes served two years in the recruiting office on O'Brien's staff at Boston College. Prior to joining the football staff, Hughes enjoyed one year as an intern in Boston College's Athletic Compliance office.

    Hughes earned a B.A. in sociology in 2001 from Bowdoin College, and an M.A in higher education from Boston College in 2006. A four-year lettermen in lacrosse at Bowdoin, he helped lead his team to the ECAC championship in 2001.

    Originally from Lexington, Mass., Hughes is married to the former Kathrine Ranere. The couple and their four children, daughter Finley, and sons Coady, Cullen, and Griffin, live in Raleigh.
