OTHER HIGHLIGHTS: As a player - Captained the 1985 Florida State squad that earned a trip to the Gator Bowl; Also helped lead the Seminoles to the 1983 Peach Bowl and 1984 Citrus Bowl; A two-time NSCA Nutrament All-American; As a coach - Named the 2000 National Strength and Conditioning Association's Conference USA Professional of the Year; One of 20 nominees for the national Strength and Conditioning Professional of the Year award; Helped lead the Pack to bowl game victories at the 2000 Micronpc.com Bowl, 2003 Gator Bowl and the 2003 Tangerine Bowl.
