    In 2011: One of only six true freshmen in the FBS ranks who started at punter last season ... Finished his freshman campaign ranked third in the ACC in punts placed inside the 20 yard line with 21 for the season ... Placed five punts inside the 10 in the shutout victory over North Carolina, he was named the ACC Specialist of the Week for that contest ... Missed the Georgia Tech game after straining a groin muscle in pregame warmups ... Had an outstanding outing at Wake Forest in just his second game, averaging over 41 yards on four punts and pinning the Deacons inside the 10 yardline twice.

    Prep: Rated as the third-best punter in the country by Scout.com ... A three-star recruit according to both Rivals.com and Scout.com ... Averaged 44.8 yards per punt as a junior for coach Scott Braswell at Hoggard HS, with a net of 44.6 yards ... Also downed 29 punts inside the 20 ... Averaged 43.8 yards per punt as a sophomore ...
