Recorded his best finish of the season (T28) at the Campbell Oil/Sunoco Classic with a +14 score of 230 ... Recorded his season-best single-round score of 76 on three occasions ... When participating with the team and not as an individual golfer, all four of Day's rounds counted towards the team totals.
2012-13: Made his collegiate debut as an individual at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate ... Finished T16 at 3-over 219 ... Also competed in the Wolfpack Spring Open.
2011-12: Did not compete for the Wolfpack during his freshman season.
Prep: Ranked among the top-15 junior golfers in the state of North Carolina by Golfweek ... Attended the Ravenscroft School and played for coach Jimmy Cox ... Member of five-consecutive TISAC Conference championship teams (2007-11) ... Also helped Ravenscroft win three-straight state titles from 2007-09 ... Four-time all-conference selection ... Won the 2010 TISAC Conference Championship ... Named all-state three times by the Carolinas Golf Association and the Tar Heel Youth Golf Association ... Earned Golfweek magazine Player of the Week honors after winning the Joe Cheves Invitational in September 2010 at Mimosa Hills Country Club in Morganton, N.C. ... Shot 5-under (71-68), and won the three-way playoff with a par on the first hole ... Also won a Winternational Junior Series event at Pinehust No. 8 ... Won the 2008 North Carolina High School Invitational Tournament for both private and public schools.
