Stephen Lewton shot two strokes under par in the second round of the Carpet Capital Collegiate on Saturday to lead the NC State men's golf team. The Wolfpack came in two over for the day and remain in ninth place in a talented field of 18 that include nine top 25 teams.
Taylor Crosby shot one under in the second round and leads NC State at one over and is tied for 17th. Darren Blair fired one over and is tied for 26th at three over. Lewton sits five over and is tied for 38 and Nathan Spoon carded another four over round. Jerry Richardson is also competing for the Wolfpack.
Georgia and Georgia State are tied for the lead at three under and the Bulldogs' Chris Kirk is in first place individually at seven under. The tournament concludes Sunday with a final round of 18 holes. Complete results, as well as live scoring, are available at www.golfstat.com.
