Men's Golf Wraps Up Action at Schenkel E-Z-Go
Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State men's golf team wrapped up action at the Schenkel E-Z-Go Invitational in Statesboro, Ga., playing the final round on Sunday. The Pack finished in 16th place overall, at 28-over par (892).
A trio of NC State golfers tied for the top round on Sunday. Darren Blair made par on all but two holes to shot a two-over (74). Kent Copeland used three birdies, and Chase Duncan holed a pair of birdies as both also shot a two-over (74). Rounding out action for the Pack in Sunday's final round, Matt Hill and Andrew Byrd each shot a six-over (78).
For the tournament, Copeland and Hill tied as the top finishers for the Pack, as both were at four-over for the three rounds.
