Page Earns Place on ACC All-Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Carter Page of the NC State men’s golf program has been named to the Atlantic Coast Conference’s All-Academic Team, the league office announced on Monday morning.
Page, a sophomore at NC State during the 2013-14 season, played in 10 tournaments throughout the year. He averaged 73.9 strokes per 18 holes and 221.7 strokes per 54 holes to rank second on the team in both categories. Page recorded one top 10 and two top 20 finishes throughout the season, with six of his rounds scoring at or below par. A consistent contributor to the team throughout the season, 26 of Page’s 27 rounds were counted towards the team total.
Page recorded his best round (68), his best 54-hole score (215), and his best finish (T8) at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate in October, a tournament played at NC State’s own Lonnie Poole Golf Course on campus.
A business administration major, Page has recorded a career GPA of 3.155. The native of Waynesville, N.C., was on the Dean’s List during the most recently completed semester, earning a 3.400 GPA.
