Men's Golf Releases 2014-15 Schedule

RALEIGH – The NC State men’s golf team announced its full competition slate for the upcoming 2014-15 season on Tuesday.
Spanning both the fall and spring seasons, the schedule includes a total of 10 tournaments, two of which will be played at NC State’s home Lonnie Poole Golf Course. The fall slate will include three total tournaments while the spring portion of the schedule will consist of seven. Each portion of the season will feature one home tournament at Lonnie Poole Golf Course.
2014 NC State Men's Golf Fall Season
NC State opens the fall schedule at the ACC/SEC Golf Challenge (Sept. 19-21). The three-day tournament will be played at the Golf Club of Tennessee in Nashville, Tenn. This will be the first of two times during the fall campaign which will see the Pack in the Volunteer State, as head coach Richard Sykes and his team will also compete at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate (Oct. 10-12) in Johnson, Tenn.
Between these two Tennessee tournaments, State will host the fifth-annual Wolfpack Intercollegiate (Oct. 6-7) at Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh.
2015 NC State Men's Golf Spring Season
The spring season will kick off in splendid fashion, as the Wolfpack will travel to Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, to compete in the 2015 Puerto Rico Classic (Feb. 22-24) at Rio Mar Golf Course.
March will prove to be one of the busiest months of the season, as the Pack will compete at the Mission Inn Spring Spectacular (Mar. 14-15) in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., the Chris Schenkel Invitational (Mar. 20-22) in Statesboro, Ga., and the Hootie at Bulls Bay (Mar. 29-31) in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
The month of April begins with the Gary Koch Invitational (Apr. 6-7) in Gastonia, N.C. The Wolfpack will then have a week and a half before its next tournament of the month, the 2015 Wolfpack Spring Open (Apr. 18-19) in Raleigh. The 2015 Atlantic Coast Conference Championships will close out the month (Apr. 24-26) at Old North State Country Club in New London, N.C.
