NC State junior Albin Choi was named to Golf World magazine's list of Top 50 Male Players to Watch in 2012-13.
The list runs in the Sept. 3, 2012 issue as part of the 2012/2013 College Preview section, which also includes preseason coaches' polls.
NC State can be found in the receiving votes portion of the poll, and will begin the fall season at the Tar Heel Intercollegiate in Chapel Hill Sept. 15 and 16 at Finley Golf Course.
The Toronto native boasts four collegiate victories in his first two seasons as a member of the Wolfpack.
The 2012 NCAA Ann Arbor Regional champion is also coming off a fantastic summer that saw him make the cut at the PGA TOUR's RBC Canadian Open, finishing T73 at 1-over 281 as the low Amateur of the event.
He also won the Ontario Amateur championship, finished T5 at the Canadian Men's Amateur, competed at the British Amateur in Scotland, tied for first in stroke play at the North & South Amateur in Pinehurst, and made it to the Round of 16 of match play at the U.S. Amateur last month in Colorado.
Choi and senior teammate and fellow Canadian Mitchell Sutton were both named to the same list last September in advance of the 2011-12 campaign.
