Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State men's soccer team was shut out by visiting Holy Cross 1-0 in the final game of the Adidas Wolfpack Classic. The game originally scheduled to be played at Method Road, was moved to the SAS Soccer Stadium in Cary, N.C.
The lone goal of the contest came in the 19th minute. Holy Cross' William Stewart played a long through ball up to Matt Ney on the left wing. Ney used some shifty dribbling to get into the NC State box, and scored the eventual game-winner 18:09 into the contest.
