Pack Races Past App State, 4-1

Raleigh, N.C. - NC State men's soccer raced past Appalachian State 4-1 behind goals from Nazmi Albadawi, Clement Simonin, Moss Jackson-Atogi, and Nick Surkamp on Tuesday night at Dail Soccer Stadium.
After taking a 2-0 advantage to the break, Jackson-Atogi scored on an Alex Martinez cross to the front of the net in the 48th minute. Jackson-Atogi headed it back to the right post for his first goal of the year. The assist is Martinez's eighth of the season.
Trailing 3-0, the Mountaineers found the scoring touch in the 49th minute, when Patrick Harrow deposited a free kick from 30 yards into the Wolfpack net. State answered almost immediately, as Albadawi sent a through ball to Surkamp in the 50th minute for Surkamp's seventh goal of the season, setting the final at 4-1.
Wolfpack goalkeeper Fabian Otte finished the night with four saves. A total of 20 different players saw action as the Pack wrapped up its home schedule.
Prior to the match, NC State's Nazmi Albadawi, Robert Beatty, Danny DiPrima, Gbenga Makinde, Alex Martinez, Michael Osei, Fabian Otte, Jorge Risquez, and Mario Samperio were honored for senior night.
