    Men's Soccer Announces Roster Additions

    NC State men’s soccer coach Kelly Findley announced the addition of two student-athletes for the Pack’s spring roster. Jonathan Ray (Durham, N.C.) has transferred to NC State from Campbell, and Conor Agnew (Fort Mill, S.C.) graduated high school early and enrolled at NC State for the spring semester.

    “We are really excited about Jonathan and Conor joining our squad,” said Findley. “It will be a tremendous advantage for them to go through spring practice with our returning players, and it will help us integrate them into all aspects of our program.”

    Transferred to NC State after one season at Campbell … At Campbell: Started 18 games, and played in all 20 as a freshman … Led Campbell with seven assists on the season, ranking fourth in the Big South Conference … Notched a pair of assists in a 3-1 win over Gardner-Webb … Helped Campbell finish 9-9-2 on the season … Prep: Helped Jordan High School to the 2010 NC 4A state championship … Played club soccer for the CASL Chelsea team … Squad reached the 2010 USSF Developmental Academy national finals … Was a member of the U.S. U-14 National Team in 2007 … Played with the Region III ODP Region team from 2007-09, and the North Carolina ODP team from 2006-09 … Named to the NC Soccer Coaches Association All-State team as a senior … Was ranked as the 61st best incoming recruit by TopDrawerSoccer.com, and 65th by CollegeSoccerNews.com.

    Findley on Ray: Jonathan is a very dynamic, attacking minded player. He has a great work ethic, and just has a real edge for the game. We look forward to watching his development both on and off the field here.

    Findley on Agnew: Conor has a very outstanding work rate. He is very technical with the ball and a very athletic player. With him graduating early, it shows his commitment to academics and also gives him the advantage of getting intergrated with our team during spring practice.
