NC State men's soccer opens the 2013 season on Friday, August 30 at Campbell beginning at 7 p.m.

Wolfpack head coach Kelly Findley added the 16th best recruiting class in the nation to a squad loaded with returners from a strong 2012 campaign. Last year, the Wolfpack leapt out to a 6-0 start, the best since 1982, to help the Pack climb as high as No. 14 in the national rankings.

Impact transfer Alex Martinez returns for his senior season after becoming the first Wolfpacker to make the All-ACC First Team since 2009. Martinez earned a Preseason All-America second team mention heading into 2013.

Senior midfielder Nazmi Albadawi has returned to full strength after an injury plagued 2012, he'll join Martinez, defender Gbenga Makinde, and rock-steady senior goalkeeper Fabian Otte as the core veteran leadership of the 2013 team.

Findley will have to mesh that nucleus with a host of quality newcomers including UCLA transfer Holden Fender, NSCAA All-American Travis Wannemuehler, and Roland Minogue, a top 40 recruit according to ESPN Rise.

The Wolfpack holds a 23-8-2 advantage all-time against the Camels.
