Men's Soccer Hosts Clemson Friday Night
The NC State men's soccer team kicks off its home ACC slate this weekend, as the Wolfpack (3-2-2, 0-0 ACC) plays host to Clemson (1-4, 0-2 ACC) Friday night at 7 p.m. at Dail Soccer Field. The game will be available online, through GoPack.com's All-Access.
The game will also mark the annual Play4Kay Game, in remembrance of former NC State women's basketball head coach Kay Yow and her battle with breast cancer.
A portion of all the gate receipts will be donated to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, along with donations being taken at the main entrance. Different health care services from around the Raleigh area will be set up on the concourse during the game to hand out information.
NC State has been perfect at home this season, going 2-0-2. The Pack has outscored its opponents 7-1 at the Dail Soccer Field this season, and has three shutouts in the four home contests.
Clemson enters the game at 1-4 on the season, having lost three straight. In conference play, the Tigers fell narrowly at Wake Forest, 2-1, and last weekend at home against Duke, 5-2.
