NC State men's soccer wraps up its 2013 home schedule by hosting Appalachian State on Tuesday, October 29 at 7 p.m.
Senior night festivities will begin at approximately 6:45 p.m. Wolfpack seniors Nazmi Albadawi, Robert Beatty, Danny DiPrima, Gbenga Makinde, Alex Martinez, Michael Osei, Fabian Otte, Jorge Risquez, and Mario Samperio will be recognized prior to the match.
The Wolfpack (6-4-4) enters the game on a two-game winning streak following victories over Virginia Tech and Liberty. Albadawi returned from injury in dramatic fashion against the Hokies, turning in a two goal, one assist performance to land on CollegeSoccerNews.com's National Team of the Week.
Martinez and Nick Surkamp have quickly risen up the ACC statistical leaderboards over the last two weeks. Martinez ranks second in the conference with seven assists, three shy of the leader. Surkamp's six goals rank fifth in the conference.
The Pack leads Appalachian State 8-3-2 all-time. The last meeting resulted in a 2-1 win for NC State in 2010.
Appalachian State visits Raleigh following a 2-1 loss at Georgia State last Saturday. The Mountaineers (3-5-6) are led in scoring by Stanley Broaden's 14 points on five goals and four assists.
