    GAINESVILLE, Fla. -

    No. 57 NC State topped No. 62 Troy, 4-0, in the first round at the ITA Kick-Off on Friday, Jan. 28. The Wolfpack will now take on No. 7 Florida tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 29, with a spot at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships on the line.

    The win moves the Pack to 3-2 on the year, while Troy falls to 0-2.

    The Pack got off to a strong start by earning the doubles point as Dominic Hodgson and Julian Sullivan beat Niklas Jonsson and Mario Rolember, 8-5, and Ivan Sanchez Gomez and Sean Weber bested Jamie Eccleton and Branko Weber, 8-6. Jaime Pulgar and Dave Thomson were also leading Mansingh Athare and Sami Ghorbel, 7-3, when their match was halted after the Pack secured the doubles tally.

    The Pack kept the momentum rolling in singles play, quickly clinching the decision and leading on a fourth court when action was called off. No. 61 Pulgar cruised past Webber, 6-3, 6-3, and No. 106 Thomson stumped Jonsson, 7-5, 6-3. No. 82 Hodgson made it a done deal with a 6-2, 6-3 dismissing of Ghorbel.

    Sanchez Gomez was also up a set on Eccleton, 6-4, 3-3.

    The Wolfpack will face the Gators tomorrow at 1 p.m.
