    WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -

    No. 55 NC State men’s tennis (7-3) blanked No. 73 William & Mary (9-6), 7-0, on Friday, Feb. 25.

    Jaime Pulgar and Dave Thomson downed Ilja Orre and Jamie Whiteford, 8-3, and Rafael Paez and Ivan Sanchez Gomez topped Anton Andersson and John Banks, 9-8 (4), to seal the doubles point for the Wolfpack.

    NC State then swept through singles play, winning at all six spots. No. 104 Pulgar downed Andersson, 6-1, 7-6, and Dominic Hodgson bested Ben Guthrie, 4-6, 6-0, 5-0. Thomson topped Whiteford, 6-4, 6-4, as Julian Sullivan upped Sebastien Vidal, 6-7, 6-3, 10-6.

    Paez beat Ben Hoogland, 3-6, 6-0, 7-5, and Sanchez Gomez downed Banks, 6-2, 6-3.

    The Wolfpack will return to action at No. 75 Virginia Commonwealth tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 26, at 1 p.m.
