RALEIGH, N.C. - Junior Robbie Mudge of the No. 32 NC State men's tennis team was named the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Mudge is the second player on the squad to garner the award this season, as Austin Powell previously received the honor on Jan. 14.

A native of Winston-Salem, N.C., Mudge finished the weekend with a perfect record in singles and doubles. In doubles, Mudge and teammate Ian Dempster posted a 3-0 ledger and clinched the doubles point for State against VCU and South Carolina at the top position of the lineup. Against the Rams on Friday, Mudge and Dempster defeated the team of Alexis Huegas and Alejandro Argente, 8-7 (4). The pair would also clinch the doubles point against South Carolina's Tsvetan Mihov and Thiago Pinheiro on Sunday with an 8-2 win, before picking up their third victory of the weekend against Longwood.

In singles, Mudge also had a fantastic weekend, as he captured victories in both of his matches from the No. 2 position in the lineup. In the match against VCU, the junior helped NC State earn a 4-3 win with a victory over Michal Voscek of the Rams, 6-4, 6-1, before clinching the team win for the Pack against No. 26 South Carolina on Sunday with a thrilling 3-6, 7-5, 7-6 (1) victory over No. 103 Kyle Koch. For the season, Mudge owns a 17-5 singles record, including a 6-1 ledger for the spring season.

The Wolfpack will return to action at home on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. against East Carolina.
