RALEIGH, N.C.-- NC State will take on the 25th-ranked Old Dominion Monarchs in a mid-week matchup on Thursday February 9. The match will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Norfolk, Va.
The Monarchs enter Thursday's contest with a record of 12-8, while the Wolfpack enter at 4-7.
Old Dominion is led by Te Edwards who is ranked 14th nationally in the 174-pound weight class.
The Wolfpack will look to rebound from a loss in their last match against the Tar Heels of North Carolina. Old Dominion knocked off 22nd-ranked Central Michigan their last time out.
Redshirt senior Darrius Little, ranked 11th nationally, will look to get his 94th career victory which will tie for fourth in school history for career victories. With a win on Thursday, Little will also have 30 wins on the season which will make him just the 12th wrestler in school history to achieve the feat.
Wolfpack freshman Coltin Fought will also have the opportunity to get into the record books on Thursday. Fought has 22 wins on the season and will tie for third in most victories by a freshman with a win.
