Casi joined the NC State Sports Medicine staff in July of 2012. She works primarily with the Wolfpack women's soccer and swimming & diving teams. Casi received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Hope College in Holland, MI, and became a certified athletic trainer in 2008. She then attended the University of Tennessee where she received a Masters of Science in Sport Management, with her Master's project titled "An ATC's Guide to Eating Disorders in Female Collegiate Athletes."
As a graduate assistant at Tennessee, Casi worked with the Lady Vols 2009 National Championship Track & Field Team, the Lady Vols Golf and the Lady Vols Tennis teams. After earning her masters degree, Casi stayed at Tennessee for a year as an intern athletic trainer.
In July of 2011, Casi was hired as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Akron, working primarily with the women's soccer team and the men and women's track & field teams.
Casi has completed all 3 of the classes offered by the Kinesio Tape Association International. She has also completed the first module of Graston courses. Casi currently resides in Raleigh, NC.
