Prior to NC State: Played two seasons at Des Moines Area Community College, earning All-America honors each year ... Sophomore team finished with a 19-13 mark which included a 10-6 conference record ... Named league and national player of the week in February after averaging 31 points and 14.5 rebounds per game in two DMACC wins ... During her first season at DMACC, recorded 20 doubles-doubles in 32 games, averaging 16.2 points, 11.4 rebounds, and 4.6 blocks per contest while helping her team achieve a 24-8 record ... Led the Iowa Community College Athletic Association in scoring, rebounding, and blocked shots during her first season ... Was named a first-team National Junior College Athletic Association Division II All-American following the 2012-13 season ... Holds two DMACC records: most points in one season (522) and highest total rebounding average for one season (11.4 per game).
Coach Moore's take: "Carlee is a player who loves the physical nature of the game inside. She can score, has good touch around the basket, and has good post moves. Coming in from a junior college, she'll have a couple of years at the college level, so we're hoping that will speed her transition period at State."
