    Stephanie Glance enters her 12th year on the NC State coaching staff. She is the recruiting coordinator as well as handling other coaching duties. She is also responsible for perimeter player development and assists in monitoring the players' academic progress.

    Glance's recruiting classes at NC State have ranked among the best in the nation. Heading into the 2004-05 season, the Wolfpack welcomed the 14th best recruiting class in the nation according to All Star Girls Report. The 2004-05, 2002-03, 2000, 1998-99 1996-97 and 1995-96 signees are among the incoming classes ranked in the top 20 by Blue Star Index and ASGR. The 1999 freshman class was ranked second in the nation by Blue Star Scouting Index, third by Women's Basketball Journal and fifth by All-Star Girls Report. In 1996 the Wolfpack Women's recruiting class was ranked fifth in the nation by Blue Star Scouting Index. All-Star Girls Report ranked the 1997 signing class the 19th best in the nation. All of the incoming freshmen that have signed with the Pack over the last four years have been ranked in the top 100 of both indexes.

    Glance comes to Raleigh from Southwest Texas, where she served as an assistant coach and was the primary recruiter for Coach Linda Sharp. Previously, Glance served as an assistant coach at South Florida for Trudi Lacey, a former Wolfpack standout and current general manager of the WNBA Charlotte Sting. Glance was the key recruiter for USF.

    Prior to joining the college ranks, Glance served as the head volleyballcoach and assistant basketball coach for two years at Lake BrantleyHighSchool in Altamonte Springs, Fla. Her volleyball teams there wonconference, district and state runner-up titles in 1987-88, and Glanceearned Coach of the Year honors. Glance, from Waynesville, N.C.,received an English degree in 1986 from Rollins College in Winter Park,Fla. She was named a two-time NCAA Division II All-America by theWomen's Sport Foundation. Glance was also a member of thevolleyball and softball teams at Rollins.
