    NC State opens ACC play this Thursday against Clemson at 7 p.m, from Reynolds Coliseum. The Wolfpack is 22-11 all-time in league openers, including a 73-45 dismantling of Maryland last season.

    The game marks the ninth time that NC State has opened ACC play against Clemson, and the Pack owns a 5-3 record. The last meeting to tip off league play against the Tigers was in the 1998-99 campaign. Clemson won 86-67.

    The Wolfpack is also looking for its fifth-straight victory. The Pack has won its previous for games by more than 30 points a game, and is averaging 83 ppg in the four wins.
