RALEIGH, N.C. – For the sixth straight week, the NC State women’s basketball team (21-3, 8-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) remains among the top 25 teams in the country. In the latest edition of the Associated Press top-25 poll, NC State was ranked No. 10 in the country with 541 points on Monday.

Monday’s ranking marks the 332nd week in program history during which the team has been ranked in the AP poll. It also marks the program’s best ranking in the AP poll since December of 2001, when the team was also ranked No. 10.

NC State recently finished a 2-0 week of ACC play during which the Wolfpack defeated Wake Forest (Feb. 6) and picked up an overtime win at Virginia Tech (Feb. 9) thanks in part to this game-winning shot by junior guard Len’Nique Brown.

NC State will next be in action on Thursday, Feb. 13 at Clemson. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Tigers is set for 6:30 p.m. The game will be aired live on Fox Sports South, Fox Sports Carolinas, and the following regional outlets.
