RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State women's basketball team hosts Miami on Thursday at 7 p.m., on Mascot Night at Reynolds Coliseum.

The Wolfpack play its second to last home game of the year against the Hurricanes, a team that downed the Pack, 79-53, back in December in Coral Gables, Fla., in the ACC opener for both clubs. NC State owns a 6-1 all-time record against Miami on its home court.

The red and white continue to shoot the three-pointer at a torrid pace, connecting on 10 from downtown last time out against Georgia Tech. Nine of those came from reserve guard Myisha Goodwin-Coleman, tying an NC State and ACC record set on two occasions by Jennifer Howard in 1995 and 1996.

Goodwin-Coleman poured in a career-best 30 points in the 79-70 setback against the Yellow Jackets on Sunday during the eighth annual Hoops 4 Hope game. NC State raised over $38,000 for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund during the breast cancer awareness event.

Despite the loss, the Wolfpack have still won five of its last seven games and sit alone in seventh place in the league ledger. Miami enters Thursday's contest in fifth with an 8-6 record in the ACC.

Both clubs are 3-2 in its last five games and 5-5 in the last 10 overall. The Hurricanes disposed of Boston College, 78-53, at home this past Sunday. All five starters scored in double figures, led by 17 points from both Morgan Stroman and Shawnice Wilson.

NC State heads to North Carolina on Sunday for a 1:30 p.m., tip on ESPNU.
