    Future Wolfpacker Earns WBCA Honor

    ATLANTA – In the midst of a very successful 2013-14 season, the future remains bright for the No. 13 NC State women’s basketball team (23-5, 10-4 Atlantic Coast Conference). Chloe Jackson, a November 2013 signee who is set to suit up for the Wolfpack during the 2014-15 season, was named a High School All-America honorable mention by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) on Wednesday.

    Jackson and her Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, Md.) teammates are having a very strong season with a 24-3 record and a No. 17 national ranking in ESPNW’s latest high school power rankings. The team has won 11 straight games and is next in action this afternoon against Lancaster Christian Academy in the NACA National Championships (Dayton, Tenn.).

    No. 13 NC State will next be in action on Thursday, Feb. 27 at Pittsburgh. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Panthers is set for 7 p.m. with action set to be broadcast live on ESPN3.
