    RALEIGH, N.C. – After leading the No. 14 NC State women’s basketball team (24-6) to an incredible regular season during his first year at the helm of the program, Wes Moore was named ESPNW’s Atlantic Coast Conference Coach of the Year on Tuesday afternoon.

    During the 2013-14 season, Moore’s accomplishments with the Wolfpack include but are not limited to:

    Nine straight weeks in the AP and USA Today top-25 polls.
    First AP top-10 ranking since 2001.
    24 wins.
    A 21-3 start to the season, the program’s best such beginning since 1981-82.
    10 wins over top-100 RPI teams.
    14 wins in 16 home games.
    A double bye in the upcoming ACC Tournament.
    Two All-ACC selections.

    NC State has earned a double bye at the 2014 ACC Tournament and will open play in the quarterfinal round at 11 a.m. on March 7. The Wolfpack will play either Virginia Tech, Clemson, or Syracuse in this game. A live broadcast will be available on ESPN3.
