    NEW YORK – Senior center Markeisha Gatling of the No. 21 NC State women’s basketball team has been invited to attend the 2014 Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) draft, the Association announced on Thursday.

    The 2014 WNBA Draft will take place Monday, April 14 beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The first round of the draft will be covered live on ESPN2 while rounds two and three will be broadcast on ESPNU beginning at 9 p.m. The draft will take place at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn.

    Should she be drafted, Gatling would become the 14th NC State women’s basketball player in program history to be selected in the WNBA Draft.
