RALEIGH – With the recent completion of a successful 2013-14 season, the NC State women’s basketball team takes a look to the future on Tuesday with the Atlantic Coast Conference’s announcement of the league matchups for the 2014-15 season.

Among its eight home conference games, the Wolfpack will host area rivals North Carolina and Duke in addition to 2014 NCAA Tournament runner-up Notre Dame. Wake Forest will make the short trip east to visit Reynolds Coliseum once again, while Clemson, Miami, Pittsburgh, and Virginia Tech will also play on Kay Yow Court.

When State hosts Pittsburgh, it will be just the second meeting between the teams inside Reynolds Coliseum. The first, on Jan. 16 of the 1981-82 season, resulted in a 72-63 Wolfpack win.

The road league slate sees trips to North Carolina and Wake Forest and also includes a contest at new ACC member Louisville. The Wolfpack and Cardinals have met twice in program history—once in Raleigh and once in the U.S. Virgin Islands—but they have never played one another in Louisville.

It also presents another first, as the Pack will travel north to play at Syracuse for the first time in program history. State is 4-0 all-time against the Orange, with three of the four wins coming on neutral courts and one at Reynolds Coliseum.

The Wolfpack’s remaining road contests of the ACC calendar are trips to Boston College, Florida State, Georgia Tech, and Virginia. State defeated all four of these teams during the 2013-14 season, one of which (Georgia Tech) was on the road.
