    RALEIGH – Following a very strong debut season at the helm of the NC State women’s basketball program, second year head coach Wes Moore released the 2014-15 NC State women’s basketball non-conference schedule on Monday.

    Prior to beginning Atlantic Coast Conference play in January, the Wolfpack will host eight non-conference opponents and one exhibition in Raleigh. State’s nonconference slate includes visits from in-state foes High Point (Nov. 21), Elon (Dec. 7), and Davidson (Dec. 19) in addition to trips to Charlotte (Nov. 19), Tulane (Nov. 24), and Villanova (Dec. 30).

    Included in the non-conference schedule is NC State’s ACC/B1G Challenge matchup against Minnesota and the Wolfpack’s trip to Grand Bahama Island for the 2014 Junkanoo Jam.

    The Wolfpack boasts a very strong ACC home slate this season, with the dates and times coming from the league office in the near future. State will host UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke, Notre Dame, Wake Forest, Clemson, Miami, Pittsburgh, and Virginia Tech in league play beginning in January.
