Pack Tied for 10th After 2nd Round at Bryan Park Collegiate

BROWNS CREEK, N.C. – The NC State women’s golf team carded a nine-over 297 (+9) Saturday during the second round of play at the Bryan National Collegiate on the Champions Course at Bryan Park.
The Wolfpack concluded the second day of competition tied for 10th overall with a two-day total of 600 (+24). Duke continues to hold the lead on the team leaderboard with a six-over total of 582, while Florida State (+12), Ohio State (+15), Louisville (+17), Wake Forest (+19) and South Carolina (+19) round out the top five.
Augusta James fired the low round of the day for the Pack with a two-under, 70. She recorded five birdies, 10 pars and three bogeys on her round, as she is tied for 17th (+3) entering the final round.
Brittany Marchand continues to lead the squad on the leaderboard, as she carded a one-over round of 73 for the second straight day. She recorded one birdie and two bogeys on her round Saturday, as she enters the final day tied for 11th at two-over (146).
Sierra Sims of Wake Forest holds the individual lead after two rounds of play at two-under (142).
The final round of the Bryan Park Collegiate will be played Sunday, March 30.
