    Augusta James and Brittany Marchand have captured WGCA Honorable Mention All-America honors. The two standout players led the Wolfpack to a tie for 10th at the NCAA Women's Golf Championship in May.

    James, who just finished her junior season, led NC State with a scoring average of 72.6 and fired five rounds this year at 69 or better. She posted seven top-20 finishes en route to being named All-ACC for the third straight year. Her best individual finish was third place at the Mason Rudolph in the fall. The Bath, Ontario, Canada native also placed fourth in the NCAA East Regional, helping NC State to a berth in the national final.

    Marchand, who finished her illustrious collegiate career as a three-time All-ACC player and a four-time academic All-ACC honoree, posted a 73.5 scoring average this season. The Orangeville, Ontario, Canada native finished with four top-10 showings among her six top-20 finishes this season. Marchand was also honorable mention All-American as a sophomore in 2012.

    The 2013-14 season was the best in school history for NC State women's golf. The Pack tied for 10th at the NCAA Championship and placed third at both the ACC Championship and NCAA East Regional.
