GREENSBORO, N.C. NC State’s Stephanie Derrey is among 20 student-athletes that secured a spot on the 2007 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Women’s Golf Team as announced today by Commissioner John D. Swofford.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.

The Paris, France native fired her best round and 54-hole score of the year at the NCAA East Regional in Baton Rouge, La. Her second round even-par 72 led to a +8 (224) finish for the tournament.
Eleven golfers earned repeat honorees from the 2006 inaugural All-ACC Academic team, which includes Derrey, Duke’s Amanda Blumenherst and Anna Grzebien, Florida State’s Whitney Brummett and Caroline Westrup, Maryland’s Kelly Calkin and Kathryn Trotter, Sydney Crane from North Carolina, Virginia’s Rachel Smith and Leah Wigger and Margaret Simons from Wake Forest.
